Aesthetic surgery is a major part of plastic surgery and its primary goal is to improve the appearance of the body. Plastic surgeons use cosmetic surgical principles in the reconstructive surgical procedures and also isolated operations to improve the overall appearance.

Reconstructive surgery is synonymous with plastic surgery. It is often performed to fix impairments to function caused by burns, traumatic injuries, bone fractures, and breaks.

Breast surgery is a form of plastic surgery performed on the breast for various reasons. It is mostly done to change or improve the appearance, size, and/or shape. It is also done for reasons related to a person’s health or comfort.

Hand surgery is usually performed to improve the condition of the hand. It is a very specialized type of surgery that is used to treat diseases that cause pain and impair the strength, flexibility, and function of the hand. Its goal is to restore the normal function of hands and fingers that are injured or impaired by injuries on abnormalities at birth.

Rhinoplasty is a type of plastic surgery procedure that is done to reconstruct and correct the nose. There are two types: Reconstructive surgery is used to fix the form and/or function of the nose. Cosmetic surgery, (also known as a nose job) is used to improve the appearance of the nose by reshaping it.

Burn surgery, as the name implies, aims to treat the burns of a patient. The main purpose of reconstructive burn surgery is to improve both the function and the cosmetic appearance of burned areas.

Cosmetic Dermatology is a part of medicine that exclusively deals with the diagnosis and treatment of the skin, hair, and nail disorders. It is a combination of both surgical and medical aspects. Its purpose is to improve the external appearance of the skin by treating various conditions.

Craniofacial surgery is a subspecialty in plastic surgery. It deals with deformities of the head, skull, face, neck, jaws and other associated structures. Craniofacial treatment often involves manipulation of bone, but it isn’t tissue specific. Craniofacial surgeons deal with skin, bone, nerve, muscle, teeth, and other related anatomy.

<p>Non-Surgical/Non-Invasive Procedures do not involve the cutting of body parts. It very often involves the usage of injectable fillers and various chemical solutions. It is used to rejuvenate the skin and improve its appearance. </p>

Microsurgery is a tool used by plastic surgeons to perform surgical procedures such as reattachment of severed parts (replantation), transfer of tissue from one part of the body to another (free tissue transfer), and composite tissue transplantation.

Prosthetic Surgery is a branch of medical procedure that arranges the supplanting of missing parts of the body with counterfeit structures. A fake tool used to supplant a missing body part, such as, a limb, a tooth, an eye, or a heart valve. It is an artificial substitute for a bit of the body. For instance, a tooth, an eye, a facial bone, the feeling of taste, a hip, a knee or another joint, the leg, an arm, etc. Prosthesis is used for utilitarian reasons, restorative reasons, or both.

Pediatric plastic surgery is a form of plastic surgery that is performed on children. Its procedures are very often conducted for cosmetic or reconstructive purposes. In children, this line is often blurred, as many birth deformities limit and impair physical function as well as aesthetics.

Body Modification’s purpose is to intentionally modify physical appearance. It is most commonly done for reasons such as aesthetics, sexual enhancement, religious beliefs, in remembrance of lived experience, for shock value, and as self-expression, among many other reasons.

New developments and investigations have impacted the plastic restorative technique industry to bloom. Insignificant/Non-intrusive procedures make it easy for patients to recuperate faster and have lower hazards. There has been a progression of medicines prescribed and the outcomes are better than those of other body molding innovations.

Oral and maxillofacial surgery is a surgery type that is done on the face, jaws, and mouth. A maxillofacial surgeon is one that specializes in treating the whole craniomaxillofacial complex. Oral and maxillofacial surgery is primarily done in the field of dentistry.

Skin rejuvenation and resurfacing can be achieved in several ways, extending from chemical peels and injectables to laser and light treatments as well. There are different treatment modalities available to treat the different areas of skin damage.

Skin cancer, much like any other form of cancer, might require surgery to remove the cancerous growth. Plastic Surgeons can surgically remove cancerous and other skin lesions by using very specialized techniques to preserve health as well as appearance.

Obesity and Bariatric Surgery is a type of reconstructive surgery which focuses on the improvement of the physiological process of the body for people with obesity, reducing the size of the gastric and stomach band.

Body Contouring is the one a method of plastic surgery that involves the removal of excess fat and sagging skin in the underlying support tissues, improving the body’s shape and creating a better-proportioned appearance with smoother contours.

Otoplasty, otherwise known as ear surgery, can improve the position, shape or proportion of the ear. Otoplasty can correct defects in the ear structure that is present at birth or that becomes apparent with development. The procedure can also treat misshapen ears that are caused by injury.

Plastic Surgery primarily aims to restore or improve appearance. There are many Reconstructive as well as Aesthetic and Cosmetic procedures. In the many years, it has been around, there have been numerous advancements, developments, and improvements made to the processes.

Information About the Venue:

Located in the Vltava river area, Prague is home to around 1.3 million people, and its metropolitan area is estimated to have a population of about 2.6 million.
